Bangalore does not have anything like Hyderabad Runners. However, the lack of a city wide group does not mean that people aren’t running. There are several groups in different parts of the city and many people run on their own too. Since I was looking for running company when I moved to Bangalore recently, here’s a list which will hopefully help other runners who visit or move to Bangalore.

    South of Bangalore, go to http://www.facebook.com/JayanagarJaguars. Running, fun and an excellent community. Ages 18 to 75 all run. They have a runners event coming up for running community and their families in march called Bangalore Runners Unity Run. Most running clubs participate. Shortly known as JJs they have expanded into Vijayanagar as well.
