I hope we can get this deal. At least I&#8217;ll be making some subsistence money.<\/p>\n<p>I have had a one year fixed deposit with ICICI with 8.5% interest since April this year. Any guesses how much it has accrued till now? 0.4%. That&#8217;s right, just bloody 0.4%. The maturity amount shows the right interest though. What this must mean is that the interest paid out is more in the later period of the deposit.<br \/>For me, it means I cannot shift to the higher interest paying at other banks.
