That’s the effort estimate given by the company Pinaki talked to in Mumbai for the mobile VAS idea. Absolutely ridiculous! This when Pinaki has made quite a bit of the technical design. All this is just for the backend application, we haven’t even talked about the front end website part yet. The amount they’re asking on the basis of this estimate is well over 40k. We’ve sent them a revised estimate for what we think should be the effort, but have started looking for other developers too.
